Our Budget Statement

Overall we spent about $116, and even though we were shooting for under $100 we still believe we did pretty well considering only 16 more dollars were spent than planned. We went to Home Depot looking for 4 redwood posts, 2 primers (1 for the cinder blocks 1 for the wood), 2 cans of paint (1 red and 1 yellow), 4 paintbrushes, and 10 cinder blocks. The redwood beams cost about $13 each, so $52 for all 4. The primers cost around $11.50 each, so $23 for both. The red paint cost about $19 while the yellow cost about $14 so $23 all together. The cinder blocks cost about $1 each, so $10 all together. And the paint brushes came in packs of 3 so we got 2 packs each for $4 so $8 in total. 52+23+23+8+10=$116
